II.1.4) Trumpas aprašymas:
Statsbygg constructs the new Life Sciences Building (LVB) for the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research and South-East Health as the co-contracting authority. The building shall be the workplace for approx. 1,600 employees and 1,600 students. Start up for the excavation and ground work was the second quarter of 2019 and the planned completion is at the end of 2026. Various professional environments shall work multi-disciplinary here to develop new solutions for major challenges within health and sustainability with access to the best and most modern equipment required to carry out world class research, teaching and innovation. Statsbygg intends to sign a contract with NanoTemper Technologies for the acquisition of a MST instrument, intrinsic tryptophan fluorescence, for the Life Sciences Building. We intend to purchase an MST instrument that is a capillary-based instrument for the analysis of molecular interactions using a combination of microscale thermophoresis (MST) and spectral shift with fluorescently labelled molecules as the principle of detection. The instrument must be an all-in-one, table-top model, and not exceed w400 x d600 x h550 mm in size due to space restrictions. The instrument must be able to measure both modalities in the same experiment on the same sample. We are researching, among other things, protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions, and the ability to analyse such interactions at equilibrium in a flow-free environment that does not require protein immobilisation is a key feature that equipment must satisfy. It is also essential that the system can measure many samples in series, in solution and with minimal use of material per sample. Through professional expertise in the laboratory, as well as research done online, we find that Monolith X is the only system with the following characteristics: Can do a combination of microscale thermophoresis (MST) and spectral shift with fluorescently labelled molecules as the principle of detection in the same instrument. Is an instrument that is an all-in-one, table-top model, not exceeding the size limitation. The Instrument can measure real-time changes in fluorescence intensity upon binding of ligand to the labelled protein while simultaneously changing the temperature of the sample (modality: microscale thermophoresis, MST). The instrument can measure real-time changes in fluorescence emission spectrum upon binding of ligand to the labelled protein as a result of a change in the fluorophore's emission spectrum (modality: spectral shift). The instrument can measure both modalities in the same experiment on the same sample. Can measure samples in very small volumes, using very small amounts of samples. See Appendix 4.0 Requirements MST Instrument K930.22 specification for more information on absolute requirements. Send an e-mail to kristine.milner.carlsen@statsbygg.no to receive the 4.0 Requirements MST Instrument K930.22 document. Summary: Given our technical requirements and needs, including in the attached requirement specification, the information we have and the investigations that have been carried out, to the best of our knowledge only Nanotemper technologies meets the requirements and therefore can, for technical reasons, deliver the service. The conditions in FOA § 13-4 (b) are deemed to be met. Any objections must be reported via e-mail to kristine.milner.carlsen@statsbygg.no within 10 days of the published announcement.
