Trøndelag county is planning the construction of a new Knarrlagsund bridge on county road 6448 inHitra municipality. The project is for the establishment of a new steel box bridge with a concrete surface and is included as a part of a major upgrade of the infrastructure in the area. The new bridge will have a total length of 199 metres divided between two spans, with land abutments in axis 1 and 3 and a column in axis 2. All supporting constructions shall be founded on rock.
