CHI are seeking a portable imaging camera that utilizes Fluorescence imaging technology to allow surgeons to visualise flow in vessels. The two main uses of this are assessment of the blood flow in arteries and veins and also to track flow in lymphatic channels. This technology allows for all devitalised tissue to be accurately excised without sacrificing minimally damaged tissue that will heal, ultimately this results in smaller surgical surgery for the patient with less significant reconstruction in the long term with reduced morbidity rates.
