The contracting authority shall procure one fragment analyser for use in long-read sequencing. The equipment shall support automatic electroforese of DNA for analysis of fragment length, concentration and integrity. The system shall be used for quality control of DNA in a NGS process (Next Generation Sequencing). In addition two fragment analysers shall be procured for use in short-read sequencing. These shall support automatic electroforese of DNA and RNA, including genomic DNA, for analysis of fragment length, concentration and integrity. The systems shall be used for quality control of DNA and RNA in NGS processes.The fragment analysers will be procured on behalf of the Department for Medical Genetics (AMG) and the Department for Microbiology (MIK) at Oslo University Hospital, located in the Life Sciences Building (LVB). The procurement is divided into two sub competitions. Tenders can be submitted individually or in several sub-competitions. The procurement also includes instrument dependent consumables and options as described in the Competition Description, point 1.5 Options.
