The Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs are the national authorities (NAU) for Erasmus+ in Norway, and shall oversee and ensure that the national offices ́ systems and practices are in accordance with the EU's national office guidelines. The Ministry of Education and Research would like auditing of the programme Erasmus+, carried out by an Independent Audit Body. The programme will Norway be administered by the HC dir and Bufdir.
The revision of the programme Erasmus+ includes five areas: youth, sports school, vocational training, higher education and adult education.
The administration of the youth area in Erasmus+ in Norway has been added to Bufdir which is the National Office (NA) for this part of the programme. The HC-dir manages and is the national office for the remaining areas. The sport is moved from the HC dir to Bufdir from 2026.
The audit assignment consists of auditing the National Offices' annual Management Declaration of Assurance to the European Commission for the implementation of their respective parts of the programme. See the attached guidelines for the national authorities that describe the audit assignment. The National Offices' management statements and auditor's reports shall form the basis for the ministries ́ follow-up and management of program administration at the national offices.
The final delivery deadline for the contract is 15.03.2028.
