The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Denmark is currently exploring the market in connection with a potential competitive tendering of research-based government advisory services within the following areas: • The area for Animal Behavior, Health, and Welfare (one part of the service agreement for Animal Husbandry) (https://en.fvm.dk/Media/638798737672954818/Future%20advisory%20needs%20-%20Agreement%20on%20Research%20Services%20on%20Animal%20Behaviour,%20Health%20and%20Welfare.pdf) – approximately 30 million DKK annually • The service agreement for Food Quality and Consumer Behavior (https://en.fvm.dk/Media/638798738042496439/Future%20advisory%20needs%20-%20Agreement%20on%20Research%20Services%20on%20Food%20Quality%20and%20Consumer%20Behaviour.pdf) – approximately 20 million DKK annually The Danish Research-Based Government Advisory Service is a cornerstone in the development of legislation, regulation, crisis response and preparedness, as well as management, across several ministerial areas. These services are provided by universities to ministries under a service agreement. Universities undertake research-based crisis and response preparedness and advisory tasks, as well as provide urgent assistance to authorities. The research behind these advisory services is central to ensuring the quality and efficiency of universities' work for the authorities.
