Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from 1 July to 31 December 2026. During the Presidency, an extensive and wide-ranging programme of meetings, events and conferences will be held in Ireland. These are likely to include both one-day and multi-day events, with attendance numbers ranging from under 50 to over 2,000 participants, including a large proportion of participants travelling to Ireland from other EU Member States. There will be a requirement for ground transportation of attendees to the various events. The DFAT is interested in hearing from organisations providing Ground Transportation Services and Fleet Management Services, such as: 1. The provision of ground transportation to delegates or delegations to or from airports, hotels, and event locations by chauffeured executive car / chauffeured minibus / chauffeured coach or other suitable vehicle, in escorted motorcades where necessary for security reasons. 2. The provision of executive car or minibus leasing or rental services (no drivers required). 3. The provision of ground transportation to attendees to or from assembly areas and event locations by chauffeured minibus or chauffeured coach hire services. 4. The provision of motorcade ground transportation to delegations to or from airports, hotels, and event locations by vehicles with appropriate security specifications – e.g., armoured vehicles. 5. The provision of a Fleet Management Service to oversee the organisation, coordination and provision of the high level of services required.
