The Contracting Authority Øfas Husholdning AS sends out this weighing notice to make the market and potential tenderers aware of a coming competition for the procurement of transport and treatment of combustible residue waste. The source sorting of household waste is practised within the contracting authority ́s area (the municipalities Tana, Nesseby, Båtsfjord, Berlevåg, Vardø and Sør-Varanger). This is done by households sorting waste themselves in different waste containers, including combustible residue waste, for which this procurement applies. The contracting authority does not have a treatment facility itself for the further downstream treatment of the flammable residue waste, and this service must therefore be procured. The contract with the current service provider expires 31 December 2025. The contracting authority has the central need to enter into a contract with a tenderer who collects the relevant flammable residue waste, to the extent and condition it is when it is collected and that ensures the correct environmental handling of it further. The contracting authority expects the most practicality for the supplier transporting it to an approved incineration plant. As long as the tenderer ensures further handling of the waste in accordance with all public law requirements, it is planned that the tenderer is free as to how this is solved. The competition is planned to be announced in the month-end of April/May 2025 and is planned to be carried out in accordance with the open tender contest procedure. This involves the competition in one phase and that there will be no negotiations. This procedure only allows one tender to be submitted, and thus does not provide an option to submit revised tenders. The tender contest is published on Doffin and interested tenderers are recommended to follow this. The competition documents will be available in the portal KGV Light, and it is also through the portal application and tenders shall be submitted. All communication shall also be in the portal.
