      The aim of this contract is to assess the prevalence and implications of algorithmic management at work in the EU by collecting representative data on the use of digital devices and on algorithmic management at work, with a particular focus on the use of AI-driven tools. For this purpose, a statistically representative sample of the working age population in all EU Member States will be interviewed by phone, using a standardised questionnaire. The end result will be a dataset that will be used to study the prevalence and implications of digital monitoring and algorithmic management at work in the EU. Another key objective of this contract will be to develop a suitable sampling strategy and survey methodology. The methodological starting point will be the approach taken in the initial implementation of the AMPWork survey.
