The objective of this contract is to strengthen para-taxonomic capacity in all EU Member States with regard to wild bees (Lot 1), hoverflies (Lot 2), and butterflies (Lot 3), and support preparation for a timely implementation of the EU Pollinator Monitoring Scheme (EU-PoMS). At the moment, there is a shortage of such capacity in the Member States. The specific objective is to undertake training activities that will enable a critical mass of experts to identify these pollinator groups to species level.
