The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning the procurement of an anaerobic workstation for research purposes to be used in laboratory environment in Oulu, Finland. With this market survey / prior information notice Luke surveys the market and potential suppliers for the supply of anaerobic workstations in order to carry out the possible future competitive tendering process in an appropriate manner.
The prospective equipment to be purchased is intended to be used to process, culture, and examine anaerobic microorganisms and anaerobic processes. As many of our studies focus on microorganisms originating from cold-climate habitats such as the Arctic, the cabinet should have a cooling as well as a heating possibility. The cabinet should be large enough to accommodate the necessary equipment (e.g. small plate reader, quartz sterilizer, vortex), as well as the possibilities to incubate plates inside the cabinet on shelfs. The cabinet airlock should fit for 1 litre bottles and be automated in use. Easy maintenance and low operating costs are of advantage. The purpose of this market survey phase of the procurement is to identify what kind of equipment is available on the market.The market survey is accompanied by an invitation to a market dialogue, where the contracting entity can enter into a further dialogue concerning the content and terms of the procurement with the suppliers that have expressed their interest in this procurement. The contracting entity also reserves the right to send procurement documents to interested suppliers for comments by email before they are published. The procurement of this equipment is planned to be carried out in the Q1 / Q2 of 2025.
The contracting entity invites the interested suppliers to participate in the market dialogue by sending their expression of interest and contact details (contact person, email address) by email to hankintatuki@luke.fi and a copy to kirjaamo@luke.fi preferably by December 20, 2024 at the latest. The email should be titled /identified with “4392/02 10 01 00 05/2024 / MARKET SURVEY Anaerobic Workstation".
