The environmental promise ́s cycle strategy for Bergen includes the E39 cycle path Bergen, which consists of eight sub-stretches in the cycle path network from Flesland in the south to Vågsbotn in the north. This contract is for the construction of a sub stretch 2 Nesttun - Skjold. The total stretch is 2 km and extends along county road 582 from Apeltunvannet at the north side of lagunen shopping centre to Nesttunbrekka northeast on Skjold.The works on the stretch from Lagunen and Apeltunvannet, past the light rail stop at Skjold. The Contracting Authority has several constructions and bridges, several cuttings and works close to light rail and development, as well as minor alterations to the Water and Sewage system. The works from Fana Blikk, via Tor veg and Odins veg, down towards Nesttunbrekka include work on a cycle path and constructions close to buildings, nursing homes and nurseries, as well as alteration and establishment of water and sewage in the area with already much existing technical infrastructure.
