The overall objective of this contract is the purchase of specialized vehicles and equipment in order to improve the emergency/disaster intervention capacity of the professional emergency services in Serbia. The contract will be conducted under the project „Preparation of the population for actions in case of disasters and improvement of the capacity of the professional teams for response in case of emergency situations within the cross-border region”, financed under INTERREG-IPA CBC Bulgaria-Serbia Programme. The project is aiming to ensure the proper and timely response of the professional teams in case of disasters using different methods for improvement of the capacity. The contracting authority, Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia - Sector for Emergency Management, is a competent institution in the Republic of Serbia that performs tasks in the field of protection and rescue in emergency situations and disaster risk reduction.
