The snow superstructure "Linbanen" is located on the Ofot railway approx. 3.3 km above/east of Katterat Station, in Norddalen. The foundations for the new building shall be established aside for the existing foundations. Adaptations must be expected. In some places, for example roof tiles must be disassembled and re-established. The foundation works shall be completed autumn 2025. The existing building will be demolished carefully and a new building will be established/completed. The new snow shelter shall be completed autumn 2026. Length of new snow shelter approx. 312 m.
