Dublin Port Company (hereinafter called DPC) is a self-financing, private limited Company wholly owned by the State, whose business is to manage Dublin Port, Ireland’s premier port. Established as a corporate entity in 1997, DPC is responsible for the port's management, control, operation, and development. DPC provides world-class facilities, services, accommodation, and lands in the harbour for ships, goods, and passengers. DPC utilises several terminals to serve the travelling public and import and export cargo. Total throughput for 2024 was circa 35.2 million gross tonnes for the year, with 6,845 ship arrivals. On the passenger side, 1.6 million travelled through the port in 2024. Further information is available at our corporate website www.dublinport.ie. To promote responsible and sustainable supply chain practices in line with industry best practice, DPC has partnered with Achilles, a leading global provider of supply chain risk management services. Achilles Supply Line has operated in Ireland for over 25 years and will be used as a qualification system for this competition. DPC will conduct its prequalification questionnaire (PQQ) process via the Achilles SupplyLine Platform.
