Trondheim municipality, hereafter called the Contracting Authority, invites tenderers to a competition with negotiations for contracts for the establishment and operation of sauna and bath buildings at grilstadstranda, Østmarkneset and Skansenmoloen locations. There are three locations that are regulated for recreational areas that are suitable for such activity. At Grilstadstranda there is an option for establishment at the new public bathing place. At Østmarkneset near Ladekaia there is an option to use existing bunkers or construct new buildings on the concrete slab. A small sauna and bath building offer can be established at Skansenmoloen by the bend bridge. The contracting authority would like facilities that are beautiful, durable and accessible and that can position Trondheim further as an attractive year-round swimming pool. The establishment of a sauna and swimming pool shall contribute to the public character of the sea front and be inviting so that several discover the sea front ́s experience qualities. The establishment of a sauna and swimming pool is an application obliged measure in accordance with the Planning and Building Act. The chosen tenderer is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits. The contracting authority will provide locations, everything else that is necessary for the establishment, investment and operation of the sauna and swimming pool buildings is the tenderer ́s responsibility.
