Helen Ltd ("The Client" or "The Contracting unit") aims to be carbon neutral energy company by 2030. In order to achieve its carbon neutrality targets, Helen is currently seeking to increase non-combustion-based energy solutions for its energy production. In this procurement The Contracting unit seeked 1-2 suppliers for medium voltage switchgear and busbar, preliminary to two different production locations in Helsinki area, Finland, as described in this EU Procurement Notification and its Annexes. The main driver for electrode boiler investments is to increase the capacity of non-fossil-based district heat production. The Contracting unit will make a separate project execution decision for both projects, Hanasaari (A1), and Patola (A2). The procurement consists of 2 parts, which may be quoted as follows: ALTERNATIVE A (parts quoted separately): A1. 10kV switchgears and busbars for Hanasaari production site for approximately 220 MW capacity A2. 10kV switchgears and busbars for Patola production site for approximately 140 MW capacity ALTERNATIVE B (combination of parts mentioned in the alternative A): Alternative B allows Tenderer to take synergy advantages into consideration and give more competitive pricing for bigger entity i.e., both projects. The Candidate could send the application to tender for part A1 and part A2. The Candidate could send the application for Alternative B but must have then applied and tendered for same parts separately (Alternative A) as well. The Supplier or Suppliers were be chosen based on the final evaluation. The economically most advantageous quotation or combination of the quotations was be chosen.
