The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration opens tender for thermoplastic road markings in the northern part of the country. The work is divided into three regions: Northen part of West Region, North Region and East Region. This involves marking midlines and other lines on roads with bound road surfaces for the years 2024 - 2026. The project is tendered for three years with the possibility of extending the contract in the summers of 2027 and 2028. The estimated work length is 1,658 km. The main quantities, based on one year, are: Sprayplasted midlines 0.7 mm thick 1,100 km Sprayplasted midlines 1.0 mm thick 280 km Sprayplasted midlines 1.5 mm thick 270 km Plastic stripes b = 200 mm, thickness = 1.0 mm 4 km Plastic stripes b = 200 mm, thickness = 1.5 mm 4 km Working days 100 days The project must be fully completed by October 1, each year.
