The EU-funded FAIRway Danube II project aims to test an additional approach to efficient river management. This will be achieved by temporarily positioning barges loaded with water or sand and anchored in multiple locations at the edge of the ford outside the marked fairway. As part of an EU-wide open procedure in the upper threshold range, a framework agreement is to be concluded with a contractor. This procedure concerns Croatia.
