Is é an staidéar féidearthachta seo an chéad chéim i bhforbairt an Ionaid Léirmhínithe Gaeilge atá beartaithe, agus tá i gceist go gcuideoidh an lárionad léirmhínithe tuiscint, caoinfhulaingt, agus glacadh leis an nGaeilge a mhéadú i measc pobal nach raibh deiseanna acu an teanga a fhoghlaim, nó foghlaim faoina háit in oidhreacht shaibhir theangeolaíoch agus chultúrtha oileán na hÉireann, agus Chúige Uladh go háirithe. This feasibility study is the first step in the development of the planned Irish-language interpretive centre. It is intended that the interpretive centre will help increase understanding, acceptance and tolerance for the Irish language among communities who didn't have the opportunities to learn the language or to learn about its place in the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the island of Ireland, particularly in the province of Ulster.
