      GENERAL Fingrid Oyj ("Fingrid") togetherand Affärsverket svenska kraftnät ("Svenska kraftnät") is making procurement for one (1) 194,6 MVA and 405/161/161 kV single phase three-winding converter transformer for Fenno-Skan 1, designed to replace any of the original transformers in Dannebo or Rauma. The transformer will be as spare unit delivered to Rauma suitable for long term storage. DIRECT PROCUREMENT The Parties acknowledge that only the original manufacturer of the transformers should be the only possible supplier of the transformer for a technical reason, and also for a reason related to protecting an exclusive right. For that reason, direct procurement from Hitachi Energy shall be used. - The structure of HVDC converter transformers has specialized from ordinary high voltagetransformers and they have manufacturer-specific technology and solutions. - The spare transformer phase unit shall electrically fit together with two existing original phase transformers, forming together a 3 phase transformer, and feed in balance the HVDC converter. - The spare transformer phase unit shall mechanically fit in the existing transformer bunker, where the transformer bushings penetrate through the converter building wall and connect to the HVDC converter. - The deep knowledge of HVDC converter transformers and the intellectual rights are governed by the manufacturer experts, and there are no reasonable alternatives or substitute solutions. DELIVERY Delivery of one 194,6 MVA and 405/161/161 kV single phase three-winding converter transformeone as a spare - Manufacturing of transformers with fittings and accessories - Testing, including type tests for first unit - Sea transportation to Finland, - Loading on the the road truck in the port and transport to the site. - Unloading of the main unit on the designated storage area foundation and delivery of accessories to agreed location in long time storage condition. - Delivery of spare parts to Fingrid Central Storage - All organizational work needed for logistics: arrangement of transportation from factory to converter station, customs clearance and forwarding
